Privacy Policy

This site collects very little. Visits are counted by an open-source tool running on my own server, with no cookies and no way to identify you. There are no ad pixels. The only personal information I have is what you send me yourself, through the inquiry form or by email, and I use it to reply to you and to work with you. Nothing else.

When you send the form at tyndalldigital.com/start, I get your name, your email address, which of the two options you picked, and what you wrote. To spot abuse I also keep your browser's user-agent string and a scrambled (salted and hashed) version of your IP address instead of the address itself. I use all of it to read your message and reply.

It's stored in a database on my own server, the same one that runs this site. A copy is emailed to my inbox (Google Workspace) through Resend, an email delivery service, which keeps a copy of sent messages for a limited period.

The database copy is deleted automatically 12 months after you send it, and the nightly backups that hold it roll over on a weekly cycle after that. The email in my inbox is kept like any other correspondence. If we end up working together, what we need moves into the records for that engagement. Want any of it deleted sooner, the email included? Ask me and it's gone.

If you email me directly, I get your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell me. I use it to reply and to do the work you hired me for.

If you become a client, the material we work on together stays on your systems wherever possible. Anything you share with me for an engagement is treated as confidential and used only for that engagement.

The site counts page visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool I host on the same server as the site itself. It sets no cookies, stores no full IP addresses, and cannot tell me who you are. When someone sends the inquiry form it also records that a form was sent and which option was picked, never what was written or who sent it. I see totals like which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from, nothing more. Analytics data goes to no one else: it stays on my server, plus a nightly backup on my own hardware.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to me. I never see or store your card number. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by their own privacy policy.

I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone except the services needed to run the business (Google Workspace for email, Resend for form notifications, and Stripe for payments), or if the law requires it.
